Extremely catchy, upbeat and fun! Damion Suomi & The Minor Prophets release “Go And Sell All Of Your Things”!

I like metal, I like punk and I like to be happy. Damion Suomi and the Minor Prophets make me happy. The group combines guitars, drums, banjo, mandolin, trumpet, piano and gang vocals to cheer you up and make you dance. We cover a lot of metal on the site so this is a good change, tell your friends, we like rock and folk too! The album is credited as making you “lose yourself in the foot stomping and heart pounding songs”

Lyrically Go, and Sell All of Your Things tells of a “parallel of the universal struggle, and the transformation that results, when one chooses to let go and embrace the life that has been inside of them all along”. The album tells of a story that unfolds before the listener as a musical score that follows the hero along their journey. The record is inspired and dedicated to the memories of: lead singer Damion Suomi’s father Duane Suomi who died suddenly in early 2010, as well as Joseph Campbell and Charles Bukowski.

KataRokkar.net had the following to say about the group:

“You see, the Americana folk genre has always missed something and that is the kind of balls-out stage energy that sticks with you… Swinging guitars, massive group drum-offs, and a passionate lead singer who seems to unleash upon his audience.”
